Thanks Val.

I don't know yet which George fits in my tree so can't say if it is the one who died 1867.

Problem is that daughter Lydia married in 1839 so I don't have her with parents in 1841.

Marriages Dec Qtr 1839 Huddersfield 22 211

We don't know yet if x2 George were both weavers/clothiers/cloth dressers.

I can't find John or William in Corporation St in census.

Not finding them either using that address, Dave.. Looks like a sibling of John & William d. 1858, same address for John.. Corporation Street maybe a business address?

See attachment for ID purposes.

Thanks Geoff.

I've been getting images off the Irish site and finding some rather odd things. I'll be posting a lot to Documents Board because there are bits I can't read.

Using the transcription below..

Residence Place: Lancashire, England
Occupation: Weaver
[see also attachment for ID purposes]

At least we now know it does exist :D

Thanks Geoff.

I'll get round to it sometime today.

Re Beaumont, I'm confused.

Benjamin Beaumont d. 1858 - a brother John of 40 Corporation street ...

George Beaumont d. 1867 - sons John and William of 40 Corporation street ...

We need the death of another George.

Problem is that both married a Sarah so if we find baptisms for John and William then mother may just be listed as Sarah.

How do we connect John and William to one of the 2x George in post #1 and to Lydia?

Yeah, Corporation Street looking more like their business address, probably a shop or warehouse, it's in the city directories since the mid 1850's.

There are trees for the Beaumont/Woodward marriage, but no William b. 1821 [there is one b. 1833] and no Lydia, so it would appear that William b. 1821 and Lydia are from Beaumont/Hirst.

Thanks Geoff.

We'll have to do this another way.

There are so many deaths in RD Huddersfield for a George we don't even know if we are tracing either of the 2 in post #1 or neither.

Any baptisms like Lydia's so we can get siblings?

All Hallows Almondbury is not on FreeREG.
