Innisfail Ambulance
Falling from a bicycle yesterday George Blackley (17), shop assistant for Cairns Timber Ltd., at Innisfail, suffered a fractured left collarbone, abrasions and contusions to the left hip, also shock. The Ambulance gave first-aid and took him to hospital.

Just a thought if he changed his birth year to enlist, maybe he might have been born 29 Dec 1922 in which case he won't show up on the birth reg just yet??

Might have to wait another year to get all the 1922 births - 1923 reg perhaps.

Can't think of why he would not put the correct dob when he enlisted.

Martha is the only one I've traced. Don't know of siblings so better look.

Same issue with index giving me no births.

Lots of deaths for children at a young age.
