I wonder if anyone can find out if George was in the Boer War? He came from Leeds and was born in 1872

Hi Duckweed,

I assume you know his location at the Nether Hallam Barracks, Sheffield in 1891 census.
Had a bit of a scratch round and found this;-

Yes I know he was in Sheffield. I can't find him in 1901. I've found a vague reference to him being a prisoner of war in WW1 in Germany but can't find anything else.
