Hi folks.

Here's a doosey.

George Burns Taylor b1885, Boyle, Roscommon. Married Lily/Lilly/Lilian White before 1915.(Widowed on his Canadian attestation papers). Died 1918 in WW1.

Not found in the 1911 census of Ireland.

Daughter Alice Taylor.....no idea of birth year or place.

I don't know if he married in Ireland or Canada.

That's all the info available to me.

Any help please.:)

Been thinking about this one i have

Attestation paper
FORT SASKATCHEWAN Alberta, Canada – daughter’s address [Alice Taylor]
George burns Taylor occupation jeweller
widow
Signed 3rd July 1915- military paper in Edmonton

Maybe someone can find them on the Candian census. You have names, occupation and area they were in so that might help.

Ancestry has free military records [ Canada is included] until the 11th so could be worth a look to see if there are more military records for George other than just the attestation page.
