Hi folks.

Has anyone access to London Marriages, to see if an original record is available, to check the surname of Rebecca Lionig, or any other info that maybe there.

23 May 1726, Saint Benet Pauls Wharf, London,

Baptisms of Children all in Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, from 1728 to 1737, as far as I can see.

No burials or baptisms for George or Rebecca in Princes Risborough PR's.

2 burials noted in Princes Risborough PR's, for burials at Monks Risborough, for 2 possible sons, Thomas Carruthers(1760), and John Carruthers(1778),

One other child who was buried in 1728 at Princes Risborough.(a stillborn child).

Thanks.

Steve.:)

The marriage is on FreeReg giving his parish as Princes Risborough and hers as Monks Risborough. I have also come across two entries in the Boyd's Marriage Index one with Rebecca's surname as Lionig and the other with the surname as Living.

fs has the following baptism in Monks Risborough

Rebeccah Liveing 8 September 1698 parents John and Mary.

Bucks Baptism Index also has a number of children baptised between 1728 and 1737 with father George Carruthers.

Hi, we have a response on our FHUK Facebook page, as follows from Georgie Taylor
FHUK Facebook Post
I can see the original listing on the London, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1538-1812: Carruthers and Lionig "George Carruthers of Prince's Risborough Bucks B. and Rebecca Lionig of Monks Risborough Bucks B. 23 May 1726" Unfortunately no other information is provided...no witnesses etc.
