Something is not right.

The marriage of George & Emma ?

The birth about 1854 in Birkenhead of son George?

The family in the 1861 census?

The bap. has George Sr. occ as Labourer.

So he was a mariner when they married and a labourer when George E bap. [1885].

Can't find a thing on George or Emma, no birth, marriage, death or Census.

The closest I can find is a child born 1852 with the initials G C in the Workhouse, Chapel Lane, Great Boughton, Chester in 1861.

Thanks Emeltee.

Could be that the names were made up. I have another marriage where age, pob, and parents names also lead to nothing.
