DENNIS - HALL.-On the 1st of January, at the residence of the father of the bride, Stoneleigh Cottage, Enoggera-road, Brisbane, by the Rev. B. G. Wilson, Mr. George Dennis, eldest son of Mr. John Dennis, late of Littleham, Devonshire, England, to Sabina, only daughter of Mr. George Hall, late of Coventry, England.

The way FS is set up now it's a pain to use. Select 1861 census, enter a name and a county for residence and you get baptisms, marriages and census for every year. FS completely ignores the filter.

I'll have a look for the arrival of the Hall family. Can't find them Assisted to NSW or Qld.

Has to be 1861 - 1870.

Sabina and the Hall family arrived 1864 on Prince Consort – (from her Orbit in 1932)



The Brisbane Courier – Sat 16 April 1864 has ref to files of passengers that sailed from Plymouth 25 Dec 1863 with 373 souls divided into paying, assisted and free passengers of 151 members of families, 173 single men and 44 single females – Capt Aitchaison – arrived in Hervey Bay 29 March 1864
