Somerset Marriage Index has the marriage on 14 February 1849. George hain was a Glover of Norton sub Hambdon. His father was James Hain, Labourer. Emma was also from Norton sub Hambdon and her father was Isaac Lawrence, Trunkmaker. Witnesses were William Hain and James Tarish Benson.

The Dec 1849 birth fits better than the Sep 1850 one seeing as Mary Jane is down as being 1 year old in April 1850 when the Census was taken.

Forget I ever mentioned it!

Thanks Emeltee.

Thanks Geoff.

Unusually, the shipping record had the names reversed so was not sure I read it as Sarah & Isaac.

Only have 14 shipping images left to do.
