Could someone please check for George (Frederick) HALL aged approx 6yrs who would be listed as either a son or step-son.
Head of household would be either his father -
Thomas HALL aged approx 39yrs in Uttoxetter (Leigh)
or step father
Joseph HILL aged approx 28yrs- possibly in Bromley Park Staffs.

George's mother ANN HALL remarried Mar 1861 to Joseph HILL so I am unsure where he was then living. According to the 1871 census he is listed in Bromley Park, Staffs, as living with Joseph HILL.

Thanking you,
Dave

Hi Julie,

Many thanks for this. The Bromley Wood is the one, and I think that the other "Hill" could be the father of Joseph but I will have to check this. The other "Hall" isn't related as far as I am aware.

Cheers,
Many Thanks
Dave
