george kent,born,1840.
i was trying to find any information on him,marriage,children,where he was born.
my nan,charlotte kent,born,easthampstead,married,alfred haylor,born,chertsey,they married,weybridge,1919.
we are not sure if it is a coincidence,they moved to Downside,cobham,surrey.where george was buried,is there a connection?
do you know how we can find out?

george had a son,james,born,1862.
i have found on the 1871 census.

george aged 38.1833.
anne(wife),born,wantage,aged,42.

children.
sophia,aged,14.winkfield.
william,aged,12.
JAMES,aged,9.1862.
address,ascot road,winkfield,berks.
i have been told to double check any information just to be sure.
Do you think this is a match.or, how do i find out,for sure?

james married ellen tucker.
he is charlottes (as above)father.

In 1881 there is a George W Kent age 39 u/m occ carpenter and joiner born Thames Ditton living in the civil parish of Cobham, reg dist Epsom, sub reg district Leatherhead.

Wrens Nest Halfpenny Crossroads

Other household members are:-

Mary Kent mother head
Cecill G Kent
Fanny Kent dau
Eliza E Taylor boarder
Edith D Ward boarder

So he could be the George who died in 1889 and buried at Cobham.
