George Lewis Look Up

Could SKS please look up a George Lewis bn c1835 Peckham, Kent, sorry I do not have his parents names, I'm hoping this look up request will help me.

I have had a quick look and all I have found is the 1881 census for 6 Hoy St Plaistow West Ham (RG11 P1715 F47 P39 )

George Lewis aged 47 widower born Peckham. I think the occupation is general labourer

described as the brother of the head.
the head is Ruth Savill a widow

George has two sons with him John Lewis aged 18 born St George Square and William Lewis 15 born Shadwell

I could not find him in 1871 and 1861 census.

Hope this gives a clue. Perhaps his sisters married name could help tace the family further

Sorry for the delay in answering but I have been away for a while, I have the 1881 census but I never noticed that it said brother of head, see if I can have any luck looking along them lines. Just like you I had no joy in finding them in the 1871-61 census, lets see if I have any luck this time round.
