SUICIDE OF A FARMER AT GERRINGONG.
Quite a gloom was cast over the quiet
little village of Gerringong on Saturday
morning last, when it became known that a
much respected resident, Mr. George
Harvey, was found in a bleeding condition
on his farm under circumstances which
pointed to an attempt having been made
by himself to take his life. Medical aid ...

The jury returned the following verdict;
"We find that the said George Harvey, at
Gerringong, in the colony of New South
Wales, on the 29th day of April, died from
hemorrhage, from a wound in the throat,
inflicted by himself on the same day."
The remains of the deceased were inter-
red in the Gerringong cemetery yesterday
afternoon, and much empathy is felt for
the widow and family of nine little
children, the oldest of which is only about
13 years of age.
