MCCROREY – on the 14th March at the Alfred Hospital, the result of an operation, George McCrorey the dearly beloved husband of Mary Abbey McCrorey, father of Mrs A Perriman, GT & JT , HAA & B McCrorey of Trafalga, son of Mrs McCrorey of Avoca, Philip McCrorey and Mrs Harman of Western Australia also Mrs T Lewis of Fitzroy. Aged 61 yrs and 4 months a colonist for 60 years WA papers pls copy.

That link has George McCrorey b 1840 Whitehouse Ireland died 14 March 1902 South Yarra Vic – parents James McCrorey ( 1809 – 1879) & Sarah May 1809 – 1905).

Marriage cert on a tree has District of St Arnaud on 29 June 1876 marriage by licence C of E George McCrorey age 35 b Whitehouse Co Attrim Ireland batchelor of Sandy Creek a farmer and Mary Abba Berry spinster of Carrapooce? Age 19 & half b Scarsdale, living at home with parents George William Barry & Johanna O’B???

DEATH OF A FIONEER.
The death has occurred at the age of 88 years of Mr George Berry, of Carapooee. He arrived in Victoria from America 67 years ago, and he came to this district 58 years ago, and wine at an excellent quality was at one time produced from his vineyard at Carapooee. He is survived By his wife, eight children, 27 grandchildren, and 41 great-grandchildren.

Death of her mother – The Argus Sat 22 Jan 1921
BERRY -On the 6th January, 1921, at her residence, Carapooee. Johanna relict of the late G. W. Berry and beloved mother of Mrs. McCrorey and Mrs. Tempest (Trafalgar), G. W.Berry (Mildura) J. A. Berry (Colac), T. and J. M. Berry (Carapooee), Mrs. J. J .Brown (Warburton), and Mrs J. H. Boehm (Bendigo) At rest.

Johanna 1882 – Aug 1953 – cant find marriage or death

Thomas 1884 – Oct 1957 – married 1913 Vic to Elizabeth Jane Tatterson – 2 children

Robert 1886 – 1916 – died 17 Sept 1916 Fleurbaix, Pas-de-Calais Nord-Pas-de-Calais France.
