George North Cockburn Davis, late of No. 19 Upper North-place, Gray's inn-road, Middlesex, Retired Pay-master and Purser in Her Majesty's Navy. In the Debtors Prison for London and Middlesex.

It's possible George was in prison in 1851.

The Morning Chronicle (London, England), Wednesday, January 11, 1860; Issue 29017.
George North Cockburn Davis, late of 19, Upper North-place, Gray’s-inn-road, retired paymaster, deceased, a dividend of 5d. (making 5s. 5d. In the pound), payable at 5 Portugal-street, Lincoln’s-inn.

I'm looking for any further info on George.

I can't see a death reg.

Thanks.

Dave
