Still looking for more on George.

From the London Gazette - 2 Nov 1849

1851 - was he still in prison? In 1851 Maria is listed as married.

George listed as deceased in January 1860.

Thanks,

Dave

I've searched TNA in ADM 196 and can't find George.

These records, from series ADM 196, are the service records of officers who joined the Royal Navy between 1756 and 1931.
They include service records for commissioned officers joining the Navy up to 1917 and warrant officers joining up to 1931.
Warrant officers included are:
...
pursers (pre-1843)

Parents not found even with two middle names that should help.

No baptism and no death found yet. Had died by 11 Jan 1860.
