I can't find the marriage on SP or find George in 1841 on FreeCEN.

I can't find the marriage in England.

Appears they were here in 1859

Ord v. Byrnes. — Defendant was charged with having left his hired service at Eskdale, a station belonging to Mr. James Ivory, without the permission of Mr. George Ord, the superintendent. Mr.David Ord deposed that the prisoner was a shepherd at the Eskdale station ; that he had received information from his brother, the superintendent of Eskdale, etc etc

Thanks gibbo.

David was 2 years old in 1851. Age does not fit well for George.

I was looking for David, son of George. The newspaper notices show George had a brother David. So that's one more who ended up in Queensland.

George was a coachman in 1851. I wonder if it's the same George at Eskdale. There is also this death:

1889/C4328 Ord George Miller - Frederick Ord - Mary Hanlon
