Hello,

Death 2 Jul 1874/C0577 Ord Catherine - Peter Downey - Jane Goodfellow

David ORD E/R 1903 & 1905 Herbert

Death 1 Jun 1906/C0530 Ord David - George - Catherine

So far I can't find age at death for David or a burial.

I can't find a death for George in Queensland.

I'm guessing at the moment George and Catherine married outside Australia and arrived with children.

Sounds Irish to me.

Thanks gibbo.

Finding more than I expected. :)

It's not an easy name to search in shipping records. PROV limits the output so you get ALLFORD and BEDFORD... first and no ORD.

We'll have to wait for the census look up to narrow it down. EDIT: Not found in 1861.

Looks as though brother David ORD b. abt 1814 also arrived. And another brother James.

George and brother David are at Esk in 1859.

That's a bit curious. With father = George or David or James for births in Qld. after 1852 only this one:

1860/C0378 Ord James - George - Catherine Downey

Brothers :2fun: Can't see the death for brother James.

1875/C0762 Ord George - David Ord - Agnes Weatherstone
1886/C0298 Ord David - David Ord - Agnes Wotherspoon
