Several trees do not have George born 1803 to Richard Palmer and Elizabeth marrying Mary A Baylis but a Catherine Irene Williams in 1825.

Where is the error?

Have I made an assumption that is incorrect?

Looking for deaths of George and Mary A Palmer nee Baylis. Not on any tree found so far.

The baptism for Anne in 1834 seems to be the last one in the index.

No deaths in NSW index that seem to fit for George Palmer or Mary A nee Baylis.

There is an error somewhere. Or an incorrect assumption? Starting again from this marriage:

NSW Marriage V1853226 85/1853 PALMER GEORGE - MUTTON ELIZABETH A - IG= Wesleyan Methodist Bathurst, Hill End

No. 37
I, George Palmer do hereby declare that I am a Member of, or hold Communion with, the Wesleyan Church [signed] George Palmer
I, Elizabeth Ann Mutton do hereby declare that I am a Member of, or hold Communion with, the Wesleyan Church [signed] Elizabeth Ann Mutton
I, Samuel Wilkinson, of Bathurst, Minister of the Wesleyan Church, do hereby certify that George Palmer, of Bathurst and Elizabeth Ann Mutton, of Bathurst, were joined together in Wedlock by me on the First day of June 1853, at Bathurst, in the presence of Mr William Mutton of Wattle Grove and Miss Ann Palmer of Bathurst.
Witnesses signed. [signed] Samuel Wilkinson Minister

NSW Death 7965/1906 PALMER GEORGE - GEORGE - MARY A - BATHURST

The Daily Telegraph (Sydney) - Mon 13 Aug 1906 p.1
DEATHS
PALMER.-At Ethelton, Bathurst, on the 9th inst., George Palmer, aged 76 years

NSW Marriage 1387/1862 MUTTON EDWARD HENRY - PALMER ANNE - BATHURST

NSW Death 1975/1875 MUTTON ANNE - GEORGE - MARY A - SYDNEY

Parents would be George Palmer (but which one ???) and Mary A Baylis.

NSW Bap V1830518 14/1830 PALMER GEORGE - GEORGE - MARY A

Page 8
Baptisms solemnized in the Parish of Bathurst in the County of - in the Year 1830
No. 96 When Baptised: 1830 Augt. 22 When Born: 1830 July 13 George - George Palmer & Mary Ann Baylis his wife Abode: Bathurst Plains Quality or Profession: Settler By whom the Ceremony was performed: John Espy Keane

NSW Bap V1834813 18/1834 PALMER ANNE - GEORGE - MARY A

Page -
Baptisms solemnized in the Parish of Bathurst in the County of - in the Year 1834
No. 242 When Baptised: 1834 Augt. 31 When Born: 1834 Augt. 11 Anne - George & Mary Ann Palmer Abode: Charlotte Vale Quality or Profession: G. Palmer dead his widow occupies his farm By whom the Ceremony was performed: John Espy Keane

So the burial on 21 May 1834 for George Palmer would fit.

Therefore a convict who arrived in 1817 and not the one born in NSW in 1803 to Richard Palmer & Elizabeth.
