While undergoing an operation at the Goulburn District Hospital yesterday, George Smith, of Yarra, aged 60, collapsed and died.

OBITUARY.
The death of an old resident of Yarra occur
red on Thursday evening in the person of Mr.
Charles Smith. Deceased leaves a widow and
a family of two sons and six daughters. The
cause of death was heart failure.


Also a longer obit but nothing that helps re pob or time in colony.

Strange, some of the trees have Charles arriving 1864, parents = Fred'k & Ellen, yet they appear to accept that father = John on the DReg?
