Trivia..

3 main contenders for marriage Magie Lovell [already discounted], Elizabeth Brown [George b. 1848 Aus] and Ann Rainbow [George b. NSW]. So all 3 discounted.

16 possible Goodwin births 1869-1900 all mothers are from the above.

Only Maggie Lovell looks to be in the Brisbane area.

If he was in Qld. for some time it doesn't look as if he married, or at least not there.

There must have been someone close to him to have gotten his parents names right on his death.
Yep, someone knew something, unless he was admitted to hospital or similar and gave the details as routine. In any event there should be some info somewhere, even an occ or address would be very useful.

Had a quick look through those archive items, Gibbo and none appear to relate to GT...

Apart from his death and possible arrival in 1869, there's not a lot else to prove he was there.. Unless he didn't marry and kept himself very private :rolleyes:
