In 1901 and 1911 Henry was a shipwright... Unfortunately previous censuses are still on the 'to do' list

Mary Elizabeth Petherbridge [George Thomas' wife] migrated to Hull from Ramsgate, Kent between 1841 and 1849 when she married George. She would only be 11 -12y in 1841. Why would a young girl move from Ramsgate to Hull unless she was with her family.

Unfortunately George isn't on the censuses in 1851 and 1861, so no guide as to POB or age

This is Mary E in 1841, but no sign of her parents in Hull in 1851 yet
