TODD.-On May 25, at his residence, 31 Uxbridge street, Kensington Park, George, beloved husband of Katherine Todd, formerly of Koolunga and Echunga, aged 81 years. A colonist of 70 years. At rest.


Looks like George married sisters.

Born abt 1845, arrived abt 1856 and father = James.

He first lived at Port WakefLeM, where he later engaged in farming, and he subsequentiy lived at Kooliinga for a number of years, afterwards ;going to Echunga. He was twice mamed, and leaves a widow and seven daughters— etc

No Todd family on that vessel.

On-line passenger lists to SA seem to end at 1855.

Last week I planned to go to the State Library this week but other things have delayed that. There is usually more info on marriage and death records in SA in a series of books.

Wonder if James died in Victoria.
