Not sure if this is related but Who Do You Think You Are (some time ago) did Jeremy Clarkson's (Top Gear) family tree. He is related to the Kilner family who made the famous Kilner jars. His family were from Tickhill, Yorkshire. It could be a sideways rellie !!

Yes, thanks, I'm aware of that episode. As far as we can see any connection between his branch and mine would have to be early 1700s or earlier.
