Gertrude Walker born 1866, baptised 22nd Feburary 1866 in Milnrow

Hello I'm looking for some help in locating the 1891 and 1901 census. I have the 1871/81 census and then a possible 1911 census but for some reason i cannot locate the ones inbetween. I have also noticed that several other family trees have also the same problem. What could be the reason for this. Her parents were a John Walker and Rebecca Walker (Heap).

Gertrude’s mother was Rachel Walker nee Heap

Gertrude married age 23 on 11 Sept 1889 St Tomas Newhey Lancs to Henry Leonard Hinnell (her father’s John Walker dec a furniture manufacturer)

Gertrude died 4 Nov 1953 Essex – her probate date 6 Feb 1954 London

She and her family are on 1911 at Hillcrest, Whitefield Manchester Lancs.

Henry died 11 June 1933 Essex and his probate 27 July 1933 Ipswich

Henry Leonard Hinnell baptised 30 June 1864 Bolton-le-Moors Lancs to

Robert Gudgeon Hinnell (1828-1905) and Annie Maria Hinnell nee Cox (1823-1893) – they married 4 Oct 1854 St Mary & All Saints Chesterfield Derby

Belfast Newsletter for 4th Jan 1905 has:
Oldest Town Clerk in England
Mr Robert Gudgeon Hinnell stated to be the oldest town clerk in England died at Rivington Bolton early yesterday morning after a short illness at the age of Seventy Seven. He was appointed town clerk of Bolton in 1864

Hi Val. Firstly thank you for all this superb pieces of information. This is greatly appreciated. Can I ask why would she not be on the 1891/1901 census. Have you ever seen that before.

yes Chris, - she'll be there but bets on that their surname has been misspelt, ie mine was missing for 3 lots and instead of being the STead they had put it down as Head....

I think this maybe her in 1891, Mother Rachel has died.
