As my father was a part of the Armed force that invaded Sicily in 1943, I possibly owe this man my life.
In death, this man saved thousands of lives and maybe my fathers to.

I have just watched a programme on BBC TV about his contribution to 'one of the greatest deceptions since The Trojan Horse of Troy'.

So on my Dad's behalf Glyndwr, I thank you. On my family's behalf, I thank you. And finally I thank you. God rest your troubled soul.

A hero in death.
