Hi Im Ivor Whitcher And Have Just Joined Fhuk. Unlike Most I Am Trying To Go Forwards In My Attempts To Find Family Members Of My Grandmother. She Was Laura May Roalf Born In Portsmouth 1900 And Died In 1932, Her Father Was Alfred Stephen Roalf Born 1856 In St Peters Upton Kent & Laura Ellen Roalf(nee Webb). My Grandmother Laura Ellen Had 4 Brothers, Thomas And Albert Roalf Who Died In Infancy, Stephen C Roalf Who Died In Ww1 And John N Roalf Who Married Florence Mabel Neal. Thanks To Free B.m.d I Have Discovered That John & Florence Had A Child Florence M Roalf Born 1919 In Portsmouth., But Here The Trail Goes Cold, I Want To Know Did She Marry And If So Who, & Is She Still Alive. Help Please

This probaly means a tedious look through the bmd index. Ancestrry have a 14 day free trial which should enable you to look at these or have you a large library near you which may have Ancestry Library Edition, I dont know what the library would charge to use this. Hi Julie,
I thought that the library might be the answer, thats how ive found much of my information to date. Fortunatly Portsmouth city library has a very good geneologist research room and access to ancestory . com on their pc,s its free to use but in my case its just finding the time
