Hello to you all, This is a long shot because I dont have much info. I have a Thomas Goldie b abt 1866 Scotland he married a Emma Taylor in 1888 in Plymouth. My problem is that Thomas went back to Scotland never to heard from again. Family told he'd gone to Glasgow (not sure) So !! Im wondering if anyone could help locate James Goldie born abt 1894 Scotland or William Goldie born abt 1895 Scotland with the above parents.
This is the only Scottish info I have on the family.
This would help a great deal..... fingers crossed

Had a look on the English 1891 census found the following;

civil parish Charles reg dist Plymouth Address 28 Clifton Street

Thomas Goldie age 24 born Ireland occ gen labourer
Emma Goldie age 24 wife born Weston Devon
Thomas A Goldie age 2 born Plymouth

civil parish Elswick reg dist Newcastle upon tyne

Thomas M Goldie age 25 boarder born scotland

I havnt access to the 1901 Scottish census, the link below is to Scotlands people.

Hi Julie
Thank you for looking I do have the census for plymouth, it is mainly the son's born in Scotland im trying to trace, with the hope that this might take me to the area Thomas eventually went to.
I know of the Scotlandspeople site but thought it a little expensive as I'm not 100% sure what information it give's, and because I'm not having much luck with Thomas in Scotland I decided at the time to leave the pay to view site alone, with the hope that sks would be able to point me in the right Scotland area.
