Thank you. Whilst all the names add up be locations, the dates are out. Herma has always said she was born in 1934 although I probably would question this. This would mean if Oscar was born in 1922 he was to young to be her father. I have not seen any records on Clyde's immigration records. Only going by what he said. That they met on the ship.

Was also told Oscar Belnavis was An officer. I have no details on her parents other than this.

Thank you.

Latest update. Could someone please look up for me any information on:

Oscar Belnavis. British Army possibly based in Gibraltar moved to Surrey. Wife Beretta or Beryl possibly Indian descent.

Children: Patricia Herma born jamaica, Benito Alejandro Belnavis possibly born in Malaga Spain? Olivia ? No details.

I have managed to track Ben down and he is very I'll and desperately needs to obtain a birth certificate copy but not sure where.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Came across this post while doing my own research, and though rather old, thought perhaps you might still be interested in what I know.
Raymond Alfonso Gonsalves was the illegitimate son of Alfonso Gonsalves, a merchant from the island of Madeira. Alfonso was married with children, but was a bit of a womaniser and had many children with local women. I think Raymond's mother might have been called Sarah Lewis.
You will be able to get further information if you take the Ancestry DNA test. Then you will have access to lots of cousins who will have more information.
