I had a look at the shipping reel a few days ago at the library.

For once the parents on the death reg match parents on shipping record. So parents were dead by 1857 but no clue as to when they actually died.

I'd like a look up please for Abraham & Ann STEFF in Great Bradley in 1841 and Joseph & Mary GRANGER/GRAINGER in Weston Colville in 1841.

With Benjamin born abt 1799 possibly no sign of any of those four in 1841.

I found some more trees and about 50% have the name as STEFF. Some have his birth as 1752.

I think was can say that all four died before 1841.

Possibly a transcription 'thing' James and Jonas look quite similar on the image. Anc. has James' age = 47 on the transcription, the image has 17.

1841 is ok and 1851 has James and Jonas swapped. Different spelling in 1841 and 1851 and here also.
