Hi Christine

When you say your grandmother's birth cert as Edith and your grandmothers sister was known as Myrtle, are you referring to your grandmother's birth cert or your grandmother sister's birth cert? Is Edith Annie your gran or your gran's sister?

here is a link to some Australia birth, marriage and death websites

Sorry, Ben. It was late when I wrote this. Edith... or Myrtle, was my grandmother's sister. My grandmother always said her sister Myrtle.... On Their father's death certificate, my g-aunt's name is Edith Amelia Myrtle Grant. On the Western Australian BMD neither name is on it.

Ben.
My grandmother's name was Leah Theresa Grant, born 1904 at Kanowna, W.A.Parent's were John Grant and Lillian Amelia May Cohn.
She had 3 brothers killed in WW1. It's her sister,Is hard to find. Edith Annie Myrtle Grant's birth or marriage. Edith was 3 when my grandmother was born, that is on grandmother's birth cert.
