Great genealogy site not been updated for 6 months.

I often check into Freereg to see if they have added any more records and while they have a lot the site has not been updated for 6 months almost. Last updated 9th Feb 2012. Before they used to update every few weeks or at least every 7 or 8 weeks.

Yes Ben. We have to keep our 'eye's peeled', and keep re-checking the places we have been before.

Always updates and new additions happening out there.

Took a quick look at the site and saw this:

We have database updating problems and are in the processing of fixing them. Transcribing is still going ahead and all this work will be added as soon as the updating is fixed. Thank you for your patience.

Looks like when the problem(s) are cleared updating will come in a big lump.

Freereg. Found it. Had no luck at all. Maybe my searches are the ones being updated.

Luckily I have many oxfordshire records as Freereg has not transcribed them due to the record office forbidding it. Probably due to the fact the record office have them for sale on CD or fiche via Oxfordshire FHS.

Is there any way of finding what parishes have been updated for the site so I can keep track? I know how to get into the Counties And Parishes which gives lists of transcribed parishes but what about what parishes are updated when there is an update?

I think the update to the parish lists is still to be done!

I know the ones I have done are not showing on the parish lists yet but the data is!

Last update for Essex is shown as 11 march 2012.
I think the update is due as soon as the new programmer has done it!

I'm hoping to find parish records for Gloustershire most especially in and around Cirencester. I followed up on a lot of the info given me here on the Kimbers and have come to a full stop as to where and when my gggrandfater was baptised. The location will tell so much about the movements of the family precensus.
