Hi, can someone see if they can find the GRO details for me so I can order my great grandmothers death certificate as I would like to locate her grave.
BEATRICE LOUISA BOURNE (NEE KITE)
BORN 1887
DIED 1955 IN BIRMINGHAM
BURIED AT LODGE HILL CEMETERY, SELLY OAK, B'HAM.
(There is a BEATRICE LOUISE KITE BORN B'HAM 1887 ON FREEBMD?)
I'd be very grateful.
Debbie

My Mum is convinced it was 1955 but I shall ask her again when I can speak to her tonight. I shall also ask her if she knows where she died.
Thanks for that bit of info to help her remember.
Much appreciated.

Right, I've now spoken to my mum and she says maybe she did get the year wrong after all.
So are those details you gave me everything I need for a certificate.
Also, do you know what the difference is between a normal £7 certificate and a "full" £10 certificate is?
Sorry to be a pain.

Hi Debbie,

The difference is £3. Sorry, couldn't resist that.

I would think the normal cert is an abbreviated version, less detailed, of the full cert. For the sake of a few quid, go for the full.

Debbie, I do not know of a £10 certificate, if you order from the GRO site, (google GRO certificate ordering service) the cost of a full certificate is only £7 not £10 if you supply the details given to you and tick the button that says is the GRO reference known.
