GRO Reference Checking Points

I recently ordered some certificates from the GRO and was unable to supply reference checking, has this been removed, together with the price going up?

but what about the checking points that you could ask them to look against i.e fathers name, mothers name etc. this helped in some way in not getting a cert that was of no use, they use to charge £3 for each point they checked.

As read it, I think the ref check is included in the new price, if required.

A number of other charges, however, will fall to this new standard fee, including those for certificates where customers do not know the reference number.
