Grovsenor Chapel

Went to London today to take my youngest to the US Embassy.

Anyway while she was in there i rested a while in the local park...the area around Grosvenor Square is very US orientated because of the embassy.....nice statue of Eisenhower and a blue plaque on his war rooms nearby.
Other Blue plaques were nearby including the house in nearby South Audley Street where the exiled King X of France lived for a few years.

But my racing brain was soothed to perfection when i found myself all alone in this lovely little 17th century chapel....listed by law it sits like an Oasis in the middle of a maddening crowd of human activety.
Not a big chapel really but full of interesting human memorys of local bgwigs and the such who frequented this place.

Loved it i did.
