he died 24 Oct 1878 Maitland – Hugh & Sarah – reg 7039 again Thomas Moylan informant on death cert.

Johanna Shanahan b 1821 Castle Hewson nr Askeaton Limerick – Michael Shanahan (1790-1840) & Mary Neale/O’Neal (1790-1840)
arrival with siblings Thomas, John, James & Mary – paperwork indicate that Johanna was 23 on arrival 11 Nov 1841 on “Lascar”, but her headstone erected by her brother John reflects she was 27 in 1848 = she was only 20 when she came out
She died 12 Nov 1848 St Brigid Catholic Cemetery Branxton Cessnock City NSW – Findagrave - she’s buried with her sister Mary
