Looks like we have a middle initial for Clara.

Death MCPHERSON CHARLES W 14283/1922 CHARLES - CLARA S - MANLY

McPHERSON Charles William Death notice 07SEP1922 Death 46 at Manly Sydney Morning Herald 08SEP1922

The birth has the middle name as Wilkes and the father as Charles William. And a death for a Charles Wilkes that would fit the marriage.
Something not right.

Death MCPHERSON CHARLES WILKES 4688/1937 83 YRS CURLEWIS - GUNNEDAH

NSW death

MCPHERSON CLARA 2292/1939 CHARLES -- ELLEN -- AUBURN
MCPHERSON CLARA M 2347/1910 HENRY -- KATE -- MURWILLUMBAH
MCPHERSON CLARA 8558/1894 JOHN --LENORA --MORPETH

His Charles isn't he or Charles William and then some has Clara and Clara S on births. I have no idea :ROFLMAO: Thats why i jumped to the Guest family cause they were easier

Yes, Guest were easier.

The death with Charles William fits the birth with Charles Wilkes.

The 1875 birth has father as Charles William but death that probably fits has Charles Wilkes.

So are they both Charles William Wilkes ? And dropping one of the middle names ?

Seems Charles senior died after Charles junior and that it's either an error in 1875 birth with middle names swapped or they both have two middle names but don't always use both or there are errors with both death reg with the middle names. Whatever, I think the right deaths.

No further along with Clara's death.

There is a tree that suggests this.. You may need the Enigma Machine to work out the first name.. Anc. suggests it is a corruption of Sophia.
