Yeah, I think arrival may be with parents not offspring..

1851 marriage looks good.. A couple of trees have it also.

I noticed a Gustavus Thompson in Penrith in Cumberland in late 1600s so thought England. Yes, changed my mind when I found all the births in Wollongong 1857 - 1867.

Oh. Coincidence there is a Rev Gustavus Thompson in England.

I'm looking for someone who may have information about Gustavus THOMPSON
who was born in Ireland. He married Elizabeth (Eliza) SHAW (b 1799
Douglas, Co Cork, Ireland) and they had five children before immigrating
to Australia in 1842. The children names are Rosanna THOMPSON b circa
1822, Edward THOMPSON b circa 1824, William THOMPSON b circa 1828, Sarah
THOMPSON b circa 1830 and Hugh THOMPSON b circa 1832. On their arrival
in Australia the family appear to have gone to the Crookwell District in
NSW. Gustavus died before 1844 and his widow then married Joseph DERRETT.

This is a bit complicated.

Joseph b. 10 Jan 1833 c. 14 Feb 1833 Wesleyan, Sandhurst By Cranbrook, Kent
Joseph NASH & Elizabeth ROOTES
Batch: C068571

Death 10618/1910 NASH JOSEPH - JOSEPH - ELIZABETH - PARKES * 23 Sep 1910

Molong Argus (NSW) - Fri 30 Sep 1910 p.1
Local and General.
Mr. Joseph Nash, one of the pioneers of the Parkes district is dead.

The Joseph b. 1833 is the one who married Eliza WHITEMAN.

The Sydney Morning Herald - Fri 23 Dec 1921 p.6
DEATHS
NASH.-December 20, 1921, Eliza Nash, widow of the late Joseph Nash, Nashville, Currajong, Parkes, in her 88th year, at the residence of her granddaughter, Mrs. Claude Fletcher, Balcarres, Parkes, N.S.W.

and...

Death 3599/1868 NASH JOSEPH - JOHN DIED CAMDEN CAMDEN

The Sydney Morning Herald - Wed 6 Jan 1869 p.1
DEATHS
NASH.-On Tuesday, 29th December 1868, at the residence of his son-in-law, Samuel Ward, Camden, Mr. Joseph Nash, in his 73rd year.

Therefore Elizabeth NASH b. abt 1822 who married in 1851 is a sister of Joseph.

Is Sabina b. abt 1827 a sister?

Elizabeth b. 29 Mar 1823
Christening Date 17 Apr 1823
Christening Place WESLEYAN, RYE, SUSSEX, ENGLAND
Father's Name Joseph Nash
Mother's Name Elizabeth
Batch: C076291

Yes, I notice one is Sussex and the other Kent.

The witness Joseph could be father or brother. I can't prove how Sabina is connected.

Where is the baptism for Sabina?

Death 3599/1868 NASH JOSEPH - JOHN DIED CAMDEN CAMDEN

The Sydney Morning Herald - Wed 6 Jan 1869 p.1
DEATHS
NASH.-On Tuesday, 29th December 1868, at the residence of his son-in-law, Samuel Ward, Camden, Mr. Joseph Nash, in his 73rd year.

That is Joseph senior.

Marriage post #13 of Elizabeth to Samuel. Elizabeth has to be a daughter b. abt 1822.

Daughters Ann b. 1821 and Elizabeth are not on the list of children on that shipping record.

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-DBYQ-4SD?mode=g&cc=1542665

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-DBYQ-PP3?mode=g&i=1&cc=1542665

Does not add up. It has them as siblings of Joseph senior.

Death WALKER ANN 12271/1922 JOSEPH ELIZABETH CHATSWOOD

WALKER Ann Death notice 11AUG1922 Death 101 at Lindfield Sydney Morning Herald 12AUG1922

A daughter of Joseph senior. Shipping record has to be wrong with two eldest, Ann and Elizabeth, being siblings of instead of daughters of married Joseph.

I think shipping record is also wrong with Roach. Has to be ROOTES.

Elizabeth c. 7 Dec 1794 Northiam, Sussex
