Hi

As part of an interest in social history I am putting together a pitch to C4 for their 3 minute wonder slot.

I am looking for 2 perhaps 3 interesting stories

The theme will be around the personal journey of whoever is researching their family history; an event that has either had an effect on you or has made you visit somewhere - i.e. discovering a relative who was at the Battle of the Somme and going to visit the site.

This is a strictly not for profit so I can't pay for the material any funding will go towards hiring the cameras etc. but I will sort out the necessary permits.

If you are interested (and interesting) drop me a line - I am hoping to finish the pitch by March/April and, if commisioned, film in the Summer.
