Hawkshaw and the Clan of the Royal Stewards

I am new and do apologize if I am in the wrong location. My Families the Hawkshaw are supposedly from the clan of the royal Stewards of the house of Athol. My other family the Freeman family is supposed to have orginated out of Ireland. I am trying to find any information about Coat of Arms or the correct clan information.
