Hayes and Darling Families of Cavan and Fermanagh (and Leitrim)

I would be interested to hear from anyone who has information on the surnames Hayes and Darling from the Breandrum, Carn, Kildallan areas of Cavan. These locations are south of the road between Ballyconnell and Belturbet. My Hayes family - names Jeremiah and Francis - farmed this land in the late 1700's to mid-1800's. They married into the Darling family, who I believe originally came from Fermanagh - in the area of Kinawley and Lisnaskea.

According to Griffiths and the 1901 Census, there were a few Darling and Hayes families in Cavan and I am wondering if they may all be related, even though some were Catholic, and others, including mine, were Church of Ireland. Dare I say, I believe that some may have changed to being Church of Ireland as it may have been advantageous to do so at the time.

These families may also be present in County Leitrim, as the county border is not far away.

Jeremiah Hayes born 1804 Templeport,Cavan Ireland,he died Breandrum,Ireland in 1882=could not find a marriage ,but he certainly had children with an Esther Darling,she was born Kinawley,Fermanagh Ireland,there is a record for her death has Cavan Ireland 1857.

found births of children of above all given the surname Hayes with a mother`s maiden name ,Darling.
1/FRANCIS HAYES ,1841 Kidallan ,Cavan ,Ireland
married at the church of St Nicholas and St Luke Dublin =spouse= Frances Ellen Waters born Dublin,Ireland 1851 but could not find a death for either in Ireland so looked at New South Wales and found death at Lidcomb N.S.W.for Francis he died 1918.his wife died 1926 at Ashfield N.S.W.
Have found the birth of a son for Francis and Frances Ellen
Francis Richard Hayes ,1875 at Limerick Ireland= died 1945 at Wentworth, N.S.W.=spouse Lurline Emily Cox only birth I can find is for year 1884,married 1904 Surreyhills,N.S.W.
2/JANE ESTHER HAYES born1847 Breandrum,Ireland=death registered at Queensland N.S.W.=spouse Wentworth D`Arcy born

Francis Hayes and Frances Waters were my Great Grandparents.

Francis Richard Hayes and Lurline Emily Cox were my Grandparents.

Jane Esther Hayes was Francis Hayes' (G-Grandfather's) sister.
