I’m looking for emigration records for James Parker Hayhoe born in Stanton, Suffolk, UK in 1873 and his brother Alexander Hayhoe, born in Suffolk, in 1880. It seems they may have emigrated to New Zealand in 1912. I’d like to know some more about their lives there.
Did they return to England?
I’ve found reference to James Parker Hayhoe travelling from Liverpool to Quebec, Canada on 9th May 1913. Did he then make a return trip to New Zealand?
I know James died at the Somme in 1918 but it is the time he spent in NZ and the journeys he made to and from there that I’m interested in knowing more about. Likewise his brother Alexander who I know returned to NZ in 1924.
All help is much appreciated.
