Mr. Gregory Grant, another old colonist, died at Bowen House, Ann-street, last Saturday, at the age of 69. Mr. Grant arrived in Brisbane 41 years ago, and during that period held many positions of trust and responsibility. Mr. Grant, as a pioneer, assisted materially in developing the resources of the colony.

Ann-street is Brisbane as is Toowong cemetery.

In the South Brisbane Police Court on Saturday, before Mr. H. T. Macfarlane, P.M., Lena Kasper made an application for a prohibition order against her husband (Ferdinand John Kasper) forbidding all publicans and other persons supplying him with drink. The bench granted the order for twelve months.

He died 1914 and buried Fri 30 Oct 1914 South Brisbae Cemetery.
