I have just registed with this site so thought I would introduce myself. My name is Christine I was born in Clapham, South London and now live in Chessington, Surrey.

I have been researching my family tree for almost a year now. During this time I have become totally hooked with the whole ancestry thing so any opportunity I get I can usually be found on the PC researching!

The main names I am researching are the Toomers who were from the Croydon and Battersea areas, the Greenbrooks from Bromley in Kent, the Holdings from Lambeth, London and further back in the late 1700's Swaffham in Norfolk, the Hornigolds also from Norfolk, the Beales Lambeth, London and going back to early 1800's Newberry, Berkshire, the Oakleys and the Hamptons from Dudley in Worcestershire.

If any of these names ring any bells then please get in touch as I would love to swap information with you.
