Hi everyone,
I joined your website because I thought I might find trace of my grandfather's former family who went to live in the UK in the early decades of the last century and might find out more about him (among others such tiny details as his real name and where actually he was from which he thought unwise to tell his family here). I've got a picture of him taken in his sixties so fat chance, isn't it? I haven't got a clue as to how to go about this so here I am. I'm not over-optimistic but couldn't just do nothing.
