Hello, just joined! I am working on:

Ireland:
John Lowery/Bridget Feron family in Down County, Ireland from 1800-1900

John Ward/Hannah or Anna McMahon in Limerick County, Ireland from 1800-1900

England:
Michael Hurley/Teresa Hannah - 1851 Census in Middlesex, England. She from Oxfordshire and he from somewhere in Ireland. Michael is listed on census as a Greenwich Pensioner. Their daughter was Mary Ann (married name Ferrie) who immigrated to America, then moved to Scotland with her children and died in Glasgow in 1903

John Ferrie (born about 1835) in Scotland. Moved to America (PA) and then I think dies or joins war. His wife and 3 children move to Scotland without him between 1861-1870 (they are on 1871 census in Lanarkshire).

Not sure if you have anything on Theresa when she went back to the U.S.A
Theresa Ferrie born APRIL 1862 Lanarkshire,died 31 May 1920 at Chicago ,Cook County death registered at 3052 Arhington(family search .org)
in 1900 she is a resident at Buffalo City New York == 1910 resident of Chicago Ward 13 Cook County
her burial is registered at Mount Carmel Cemetery
she married James Carroll born 1861 Lanarkshire died 1931 Chicago,he is the son of Patrick Carroll born Cavan Ireland 1830 and Elizabeth Biggins born May 1833 Scotland
Theresa and James had the following children
1/Isabella born Glasgow Lanarkshire 1883 she died Sunland ,Los Angeles 1965(it seems that she married twice although I can only confirm 1 husband that of Harry Silvers Peckham born New York 1879 died Chicago 1909(there are children from this marriage)
2/James born Glasgow 1885
3/Patrick born Glasgow April 1887
4/Ellen born New York 1891
5/Joseph born Buffalo City New York 1891
6/Casper born New York 1897
7/James born New York 1897

Do you know a middle name or initial on your John Ferrie. Have seen several in the Civil War records from Pennsylvania....not sure which one is yours. Most are spelled Ferry.

Hi Sarah. I dont know of middle name or initial. I have not seen one on any documents. Just know his wife and kids and I believe his father was John and mother was Agnes. He was for sure from Scotland.

Thank you. Yes I have all info on her in US. I am trying to find more info on her grandparents , Michael Hurley and Teresa Hannah. I saw you posted some further info from Scotland and England in the family. I have all that same info.
