Good morning,

So I'm new here. My name's Kevin, and I've been researching on and off for about 6 years. I started at the request of my wife's grandfather, who has since passed away, and for the couple of years only researched my wife's family tree.

Recently I've been trying to find out more about my own ancestry, but it's proved a lot more difficult than my wife's. Lots of people's fathers not being the person it would originally appear they were. It's all interesting though, and I regularly lose an entire day online - I'm currently laid up after an operation so I have entire days to lose

I'm trying to research Lowe, Blair, Wood, Jones, Bown, Tattersall - all from the Chesterfield area. Also, on my wife's side, Lowe and Unsworth from Wigan.

Happy to be here, and hope to be able to help as well as make use of others invaluable knowledge.
