My name is Dave and I've been researching my Family Tree since 1989, so already have good grasp of whats involved. I belong to a couple of Forums
One is more of a local history site covering the streets and place of my youth.
The other is a friendly site with a mix of serious research and friendly banter.

So if you can help and advise fellow members, I am sure the FHUK members will really appreciate it.

Thanks for the replies.

Sometimes I think my own brickwalls are never going to knocked down.

My knowledge isn't to bad, my problem is finding more time to devote to this "hobby" (more of a way of life somedays). As I work during the week
I have to fit in research on line in the evening or do research during the weekend.

My parents families are from Gloucestershire and Lincolnshire and from villages in rural area's.

Hopefully will get to grips with this, and maybe once I know where I am I'll try and offer a bit of help.
