Hi Rob,

Welcome to the forum. The only Gertrude Brill I could find for 1908 was in the district of Leeds, but Ancestry has the September 1/4 missing so couldnt check that. New a family with surname Brill years ago unusual name. Looking as the 1901 census there are some from the Kent/London area.

Hi,Julie.

thank you for your email.

we have hit a brick wall concerning my nan.
when she retired she had no birth certificate.
would you know if the Public Records Office have a copy of the original?
Charles and Edith Beech had daughters of their own.
my mum has a feeling one could be Gertrudes mum,(mums, mum).
Her name is,was,Cicely Beech.

Thank you.
Rob.
