Hi my name is gwenyth. I was born as Gwenyth Hilda Bustin at Amersham in1957. I would like to research my fathers history. He was Herbert Thomas Bustin born at Wytham on 21 Jan 1913. I have two step brothers who I believe live in Norfolk. They are Pearce and Jim Bustin. I would love to meet them. My hobby is showing my shetland sheepdogs.

Julie. Thank you . I think that could be my dad. Unfortunately he is now passed away about 15 years
Ago at Thatcham Berkshirë and I have no paper records.I do know he was named after an uncle killed in the Great War and who is on a memorial in Wytham Church

The next thing to do is to get your fathers marriage certificate which will have the fathers name and occuption.

Hi to you all and thanks.I have now found that my father was born at Binsey Oxford I think his fathers name was Frederick. My father married my mother in Feb 1957 she was Hilda Grace Thorogood. This was his 2nd marriage his first wife was Phyllis. Hence my step brothers. Sorry but can't seem to access the links you have given me. So please I need more help.

I have an ancestor who married in Cucks in 1811 but they were from Oxfordshire. They wed in Twyford.

Sorry about the delay but the vodafone server has been a bit iffy today so could not get links to pages etc but I'm back now. Anyway I know that my dad was an estate maintenance worker and as a child we always were moving house so as a young child I have little memory of where we lived. My mother was not married to my dad at the time of my birth. He was still divorcing his first wife. Anyway mum has said she will try to find dads birth certificate . By the way mum is from essex (sailing).
