Help finding my great grandmother

I have only been researching for a week so I am very nice to all this.

My great grandmother was called Emily Elizabeth Hines, b1889 in Cambridge

She had 6 children:

Alec Hines (b1909) born in Cambridge and bought up by his grandparents (William and Mary Hines)
Melinda Wingell (b1912) born in Cambridge
Leslie Wingell (b1916) born in Lincoln
Thomas Hamilton Wingell (b1915) born in Lincoln
Winston Reginald Wingell (b1923) born in Cambridge
Muriel A M Wingell (b1925) born in Sheffield
Lloyd Wingell (b1927) born in Sheffield

I have found all the children's birth details in the bmd index.

I also know she married Thomas Henry Wingell on the 2nd December 1911 in Cambridge.

I am pretty unsure as to whether she stayed married to Mr Wingell or they lived apart. I can't find any records of Emily Elizabeth (like where she died and when).

Has anybody got any advice as to where I can go from here?

Did you look for her on the complete BMD or partial index, as the partial index isnt complete.

I have only just found you request from 3 years ago. If you are stil trying to find her death I believe it was in 1931 in Abingdon Cambridge, her name of course being Wendell

My Hines family is traceable back to Cambridge in the 17th Century, I cannot make a link yet. I have a large one name study of East Anglian Hines

Yes I have her death certificate now and she did indeed die in Great Abington at the age of 43 from a rupture of the heart muscle. I'd be interested in any Hines information you have. Feel free to contact me directly.

Hi I am researching my friends family her mothers maiden name is Wingell, She was raised in care as was her mother Muriel wingell, if you can help peice together her family that would be brill
