Help me find an Edwards in Wales...

Hi I'm new to this so here we go...
I'm trying to find info on Thomas Edwards (b)1812 Mathry, Pembrokeshire, married to Martha (b)1810 this was my GG Grandfather and I would like to trace further back. What is the best way to proceed can anyone help me please.
